Practice History

Mr. Ruliffson joined Weary Davis in 2014 where his practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, corporate formation, and business planning and transactions. Mr. Ruliffson works with local accountants, financial planners and trust managers to provide clients with estate planning needs. He routinely handles complex estates with significant income tax issues as well as modest will and trust arrangements. 



Mr. Ruliffson was raised in Hays, Kansas, and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University in 1997. Before attending law school, Mr. Ruliffson spent four years in a private accountancy followed by ten years in consulting and technical support. Mr. Ruliffson then attended the University of Kansas School of Law where he graduated in 2013 with certificates in tax law and business and commercial law. He was a member of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy and participated in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). Mr. Ruliffson and his wife, Rebecca, have three daughters.
