Wendy L. Kaus practices primarily in the areas of simple and complex estate planning, elder law, trust and estate administration and taxation. Among the specific areas in which she represents clients are:
In the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, charitable trusts, life insurance trusts;
In the establishment of guardianships and conservatorships;
In probate and estate administration; and
In the assistance of tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service and Kansas Department of Revenue.
Personal
Ms. Kaus earned her Juris Doctor in 1995 from the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Kansas. During law school, Ms. Kaus served on the Creighton University Law Review where she published an article. She earned bachelor of science degrees in mathematics and psychology, cum laude, from Creighton University in 1992.
